INTRODUCTION TO STUDENT LEADERSHIP

2012 SPRING WORKSHOPS

Are you about to begin the process of selecting students for your 2012-2013 Band & Auxiliary Leadership Team? Let Dave Kuhns of Attitude Concepts for Today get your leadership candidates pointed in the right direction by enrolling them in one of the “Introduction to Student Leadership” workshops he will be presenting in southern California this spring.  These workshops are designed to introduce prospective student leaders to the concepts of leadership by example, the personal price of leadership, the qualities of an effective leader, and how to develop and maintain a positive attitude.
A professional speaker (and current band director) like Dave can effectively “lay it on the line” in a way that really connects with kids.  Dave has been leading these popular workshops for the past nineteen years. Directors of the most outstanding band programs throughout the southern California area have entrusted Dave to introduce their leadership candidates to the foundations of effective leadership.
 

ESPERANZA HIGH SCHOOL, ANAHEIM
Friday Evening, May 4th from 7 to 9 PM
Participant Fee: $15 (Cash or check only)

MT CARMEL HIGH SCHOOL, SAN DIEGO
Saturday, May 5th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM (time adjusted for SAT’s)
Participant Fee: $15 (Cash or check only)
(Registration at 1:00 PM)

SAVANNA HIGH SCHOOL, ANAHEIM
Friday Evening, May 18th from 7 to 9 PM
Participant Fee: $15 (Cash or check only)
(Registration at 6:30 PM)

RIVERSIDE POLY HIGH SCHOOL, RIVERSIDE
Saturday Morning, May 19th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
Participant Fee: $15 (Cash or check only)
(Registration at 8:30 AM)

Students should be prepared to take notes
